Description

Smart SFP NID provides standards-based demarcation solution for delivering high-speed secure SLA-guaranteed Ethernet services with end-to-end lifecycle management – activation testing, continuous performance monitoring, remote troubleshooting and fault management.

The most important functions are implemented in hardware to ensure low latency and minimal packet jitter while supporting wire-speed packet processing. The ability to install standard Linux packages provides familiar diagnostic tools at any point on the network.

Smart SFP NID easily integrates with existing network equipment, requiring no additional rack space or power. By simply plugging into existing network equipment, Smart SFP NID adds SLA monitoring capabilities, enhancing service and improving the customer experience.
